Misery of beauty

By Andrew Besbekos

What used to be great?
Turned into a scar too deep
True beauty is lost

The beauty that was
Has become part of past thought
Out rather than in

Inner hearts prevail
Hinder and counter the dark
The dark being out

Out as in outer
What can be said to that shit?
Eat your heart out kids

The magazines all lay
Only arouse the true pigs
They dig their own grave

Thought of out and in
Both intertwined and equal
But never corrupt

Think beauty as art
The body a true piece
But the heart is more

Never forget this
Beauty is within our hearts
Not just our bodies
